I’m Jasmina Stojanović, a painter and artist from Serbia.
My work brings together painting, drawing and travel sketchbooks. I am interested in places with their own atmosphere, old streets, everyday scenes, people and what remains in memory after we leave.
I love travelling with a sketchbook and getting to know a place through drawing. Drawing gives me time to really look at what is in front of me. My sketchbooks are therefore diary, archive and artwork at the same time.
A special part of my practice is Art by Mail — a monthly project through which I send drawings and stories from my travels to people as real letters.
